Meetings
The Vernon County Historical Society meets quarterly on the second Sunday of the month at 2PM.
Meetings are held in the Bushwhacker Museum at 212 West Walnut Street in Nevada.
At the conclusion of a brief business meeting, a program of historical interest is presented. Meetings generally last about 60 minutes and are open to the public.
Note: The January 8th, 2012 meeting of the Society will be held in a special location, while the Museum is undergoing renovations. The meeting will take place in the Leslie and Jerry Barlett home at 511 West Walnut. The Barletts have done extensive renovation of this historic home and have opened it to the Society for the January quarterly meeting. Election of officers will also take place at this time.
